Got an email this morning, from one of my Drawing students Katyln, sharing some of her great sketches she's been working on by researching her interests on the web. These are WAY AWESOME and I absolutely LOVE sharing my student's work outside of the classroom. Great job Katlyn and KEEP DRAWING :)
Thank you Sara M., 8th grade, for emailing this awesome picture over the weekend. Make art, like a Ross.
Check this site out - atenae257productoins.weebly.com - created by 7th grade painting student Nate T. himself! Outside of school, Nate likes to write and produce his own videos with his friends for fun. After looking on NerdyArtTeacher.weebly.com he was inspired to create his own weebly site for all of his videos. I get so excited when students are using their many creative techniques to work on activities that they LOVE!
Great Job Nate - and readers go support his weekly site! What a funny guy :)
Really Interesting article and cool info graphics all about color - click here!
Drawing student Aspen has been showing/teaching me a bunch on the art of Anime. Now, I've never personally drawn or gotten into Anime drawing, but it is definitely a hit with my students! This type of art making has a HUGE following, and there are many resources available online to learn and practice from. If you're interested in Anime I suggest you check out these cool websites and iPod apps. Thank you Aspen for teaching me!!!
1) How to Draw Manga website 2) iAnime (iPod app) Google & YouTube searches also bring up great ways to learn drawing Anime! |
