This website has a really great photo contest where they asked artists and photographers to recreate famous works of art from history! Really cool idea and there are some great photos.

Came across this super awesome website today while looking for some inspiration online for my art. It is a website full of collections of street art (graffiti, but they have permission) found all over the world. This is definitely one area of art I really appreciate and admire. Because well. . . without ART the "EARTH" is just "EH" Happy Tuesday students. Just can't get enough color?
Well, the iPad app Color Uncovered, has you set. This free app is all about the SCIENCE behind color. Because, really artists just use this knowledge (the color wheel, what we've been learning about) and make it work in our artworks. If you or a family member has an iPad, ask permission and download this fun app. You'll love showing everyone what COLOR has to offer.

It's a really great video about drawing and seeing your sketches come to life! Check out side walk chalk artist Julian Beever. Talk about a guy who knows great perspective and has mastered key tricks about how to make drawings super realistic.
